Our self catering holiday cottage in Thornham has been tastefully furnished and makes a very cozy home from home for a relaxing holiday. With an open plan living and dining area on the ground floor with an open fire and stairs leading to the master bedroom with en-suite, and two other bedrooms and main bathroom. The cottage has 3 parking spaces and an enclosed safe garden ideal for children and pets this is accessed through a gate from the parking area.
Built in traditional brick and chalk lump style, the cottage is part of an award winning conversion of a former malt house barn and farm buildings converted around 30 years ago. It sits on the edge of the salt marsh, in a quiet cul-de-sac. The master bedroom has views of the sea and salt marsh in the distance. The cottage is close to the Norfolk Coastal path and Peddars way.
Thornham is a beautiful village on the North Norfolk coast, close to secluded sandy beaches and salt marshes. With a fantastic selection of walks available from the front door. Nearby Titchwell RSPB reserve is a haven for migrating birds and bird watchers. The Coast hopper bus is an excellent service and allows you to walk the Coastal path have a few drinks on route and return home without having to use your car.
There are three excellent pub/restaurants in the village; The Orange Tree, The Coach House, The Lifeboat Inn, and the Thornham Deli/cafe serve breakfast, lunch and snacks. All Pubs and restaurants serve a varied selection of local produce. For your morning newspapers and fresh bread just pop down to the Thornham Deli providing a varied selection of tasty treats. And Drove Orchard Farm shop for other supplies and you can also pick your own fruit in summer.
